Hello Okemo,

What a great weekend in Ludlow to celebrate the 4^th of July! We had a great time kicking off the local festivities in the parade. Downtown Ludlow was lined from one end to the other with happy smiling faces celebrating America’s birthday. We got a little rain but not enough to wreck any plans for the fireworks Saturday night. Okemo is proud to host the Town of Ludlow Fireworks Display each summer. The Ludlow Recreation Department did an excellent job again this year organizing the display, the music and the vendors.

Looking forward to the upcoming weekend be sure to join us in the Jackson Gore Courtyard on Friday at 5:30 PM. The What Knots, featuring local fav Sammy B, will be playing. Our F & B team will be on hand with a barbeque, local beers and signature drinks, both with and without alcohol. The Adventure Zone and the Sunburst6 Scenic Chair will be open Thursday – Sunday 10 AM – 5 PM. Your 2026-27 Epic Pass gets you to the summit for a great view, it’s a different experience in the summer and riding down!

Can’t find breakfast in town – Coleman Brook Tavern is open everyday 7:30 – 10:30 AM. Get fueled and take a hike to the JG waterfall or come do yoga! Yoga is offered on Saturday mornings at the Summit Lodge. The Sunburst6 opens 8:30 AM, and class starts at 9. The last chair up is at 8:45, then the lift is closed so class participants can enjoy the peacefulness of the summit.
