Good afternoon Okemo,

An interesting day on the mountain, sometimes along with snow we get a little ice. Our teams worked diligently throughout the morning to get all scheduled lifts opened in a safe manner. I hope you all had a good day and explored the resort as lifts started spinning. Sometimes days like these push you to ski and ride trails you may not have before, I bet you found a few new favs.

Wardance and the connecting trails will be on hold tomorrow as the Okemo Competition Center practices. Other than those few trails we will be 100% open, check back in the morning for updates. Our lifts open tomorrow at 8 AM.

Also this weekend Okemo Mountain Resort celebrates Pride. Tomorrow, reps from Lawson Finest Liquids will give away prizes for the best rainbow-themed outfits and offer drink specials at The Bull. On Sunday meet up with OutRyders, Northeast’s largest LGBTQ+ inclusive Ski and Snowboard Club for a Pride Run. Gather at the Summit Lodge at 11 AM for a colorful cruise down the mountain. End the weekend with a Silent Disco in the Bull Sunday at 3:30 PM.

Also, on tap for tomorrow is a guided snowshoe hike beginning at 6 PM. Meet in front of the Springhouse on the Jackson Gore base, please bring your own shoes or rent locally in town.
