GREAT NEWS! Jackson Gore is scheduled to be open for skiing and riding starting Friday, December 8!
In honor of that achievement, your RFID lift access card will include Friday as well as Saturday and Sunday. So, if you're able to break away and join us during the ski day on Friday, your lift access card will be activated and ready for use on December 8! We're ready to get this party started. RFID cards will be included in your welcome bags available at the Jackson Gore Inn Front Desk.

We're delighted to be hosting another annual media weekend to kick off the 2017/2018 ski and snowboard season here at Okemo Mountain Resort.

Friday, December 8

Arrival throughout the day - Check-in is 5 p.m. at Jackson Gore Inn. Welcome bags will include your name-badge/credential, an Okemo Real.Easy Card - an RFID-enabled card you must carry in a pocket for lift access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Learn more about RFID technology .  Please carry your name-badge/credential at all times. You may be asked to present it for complimentary group lessons, rental equipment and other services during your visit.

Dinner on your own - Dine at Okemo's Coleman Brook Tavern or choose from a selection of area eateries listed in the Okemo Valley Regional Guide, included in your welcome bag.

7 p.m. Evening Snowhoe Tour - Meet at the Jackson Gore Firepit
Join Tubbs Snowshoes ambassadors as they lead an evening family trek around the Jackson Gore base area.

Saturday, December 9

7:15-9 a.m.
Breakfast in Coleman Brook Tavern at the Jackson Gore Inn.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet to fuel up for a day of skiing and riding at Okemo.

7:30 a.m.
Okemo's rental shop in the Jackson Gore Inn courtyard opens. Show your credential for complimentary equipment.

7:45 a.m.
Join Okemo Vice President and General Manager Bruce Schmidt and Marketing Vice President Dave Kulis for an on-snow mountain tour that will include behind-the-scenes visits to some of Okemo’s operational hot spots. Gather at the Coleman Brook Express to join the group

.8 a.m.
Lifts open to the public - Get out there and make some tracks.

Your Okemo Real.Easy Card is your lift access card. Please carry it in your outerwear pocket (jacket or ski pants) so RFID readers at lift terminal access gates can easily authenticate your card. For complimentary group lessons ((based on availability) and rental equipment during your visit, you may present your name badge/credential.

11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Ride Okemo's Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster at Jackson Gore. Just show your name badge/credential for unlimited complimentary rides.

Noon
Lunch with Tim and Diane Mueller at EPIC. Chef Mark Weigand and his staff work to provide hungry guests with the freshest ingredients for a unique culinary experience. Tim and Diane Mueller will talk about what's new at Okemo this year and Okemo's Operations Management team will be on hand to answer any questions about snowmaking and mountain operations. Ski to lunch at Epic, located in the Solitude Mid-Mountain Lodge, or ride a complimentary shuttle running between the Jackson Gore stone archway or the Clock Tower shuttle stop (located between Okemo Mountain Lodge A and B buildings) and EPIC at the Solitude Lodge.

6:30 p.m.
Cocktails and Dinner at Coleman Brook Tavern. (Drinks at 6:30 and seating for dinner at 7 p.m.) Okemo's culinary team works with many local farmers and food producers to bring the freshest ingredients to dining guests.

7 p.m.
Starlight Snowshoe Hike. This guided trek up the mountain will offer a nighttime perspective of Okemo’s Jackson Gore under the light of the starry sky. Return to the fire pit at the Jackson Gore Inn to roast marshmallows and share stories. Tour starts at 7:30. Call (802) 228-1956 to register.

Sunday, December 10

7:30-9 a.m.
Breakfast in Coleman Brook Tavern at the Jackson Gore Inn.
Fuel up for another fun day on the slopes.

8 a.m.
 Lifts start turning - Get out there and make some tracks. 

Noon
Check-Out Time -  Late check-out may be available. Please coordinate with the front desk staff. Another option is to freshen up at The Spring House prior to departure.

December 8-10: Woodstock's Wassail Weekend. A Vermont Chamber of Commerce Top 10 Winter Event! Twinkling lights and jingling sleigh bells, holiday stories, Yule logs, carols, luminaries, Santa’s workshop and house tours around the village green.
