Peoples’ Choice Awards, Top Ten Lists and General Accolades
In its 2016 Top Ranked Eastern Resorts Survey, SKI named Okemo Mountain Resort one of the top 10 resorts in the East. Okemo ranked ninth overall and placed among the top 10 in several categories listed in the newest print issue and online at skinet.com. Okemo was ranked fourth in the East for Grooming and third for Snow Quality. The Resort ranked fourth in the survey’s Kid Friendly and On-Mountain Food categories. Okemo earned seventh place in the East for Access and Dining, and eighth place for for Service, Lodging and Terrain Parks.
Vermont Business Magazine
Okemo was named one of the Best Small/Medium Venues for Meetings and Events in he 2017 Best of Business Awards (BOB Awards) by Vermont Business Magazine. This awards program celebrates the best Vermont companies in more than 100 business-to-business categories, as chosen by VBM readers.
In March 2017, The Ski Diva's annual Best of the Year awards named Okemo's Women's Alpine Adventures their "Favorite Women's Ski Clinic for 2017."
Readers of OnTheSnow ranked Okemo one of the top three Northeast apres ski resorts in 2017.
Okemo makes the list of Top 5 Ski Resorts in Vermont. "This is a great resort for adults or children. It is great for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers and snowboarders."
Best in Snow Awards 2016-2017 - Okemo was ranked number 6 in the Northeast for Best Snow Consistency and Quality.
Okemo was named a runner-up in a list of Top Terrain Parks in North America in 2017
In the 2016 January/February issue, Ludlow was named one of the Ten Best Winter Towns in New England.
Okemo’s partnership with Snow Park Technologies last year raised the stakes for Okemo Parks and terrain park aficionados. TransWorld SNOWboarding listed Okemo's terrain parks among its East Coast Top Five list in the November 2015 issue.
This report on Alpine Relay's data on time skiing vs. time riding on lifts ranked Okemo as number 20 nationwide and fifth in the East.
In December 2015, Outside editors posted a roundup of The Best Ski Resorts in the East on the publication’s website. Okemo was included among the 13 New York and New England resorts listed. “Families still love the well-marked, superbly maintained trails, while advanced skiers have plenty of room to play all across the south face down to Jackson Gore Village.”

Okemo was listed fifth in the website's Winter Getaways Guide in Dec. 2015. Seventeen New York City Metro Area publishers picked their favorite kid-friendly destinations. “Such a family-friendly mountain,” wrote Hulafrog Cofounder Sherry Lombardi.
In October 2015, Okemo topped the list of FamilyVacationCritic.com's list of Ten Best Family Ski Resorts.

In January 2015 Huff Post Travel named some of Okemo's runs among its " Favorite Ski Trails in New England ."
In spring 2014, OnTheSnow.com visitors named Okemo Mountain Resort their favorite North American family ski resort, granting it top honors in the Best Family Resort category in this year’s Visitors’ Choice Awards.

In Feb. 2013, Frommer's listed Okemo in its list of "Five Great Ski Resorts for Families."
In March 2012, About.com announced that Okemo Mountain Resort had been selected as the 2012 About.com Readers' Choice Award winner for Best New England Ski Resort. The About.com Readers' Choice Awards honor the best products, features and services across more than a dozen categories, ranging from technology to hobbies to parenting and more, as selected by its readers.
In Oct. 2011, Forbes.com listed their top picks in an article and slide show titled “10 Best Ski Resorts for Families.” Okemo Mountain Resort claimed the fifth position in the top-ten list and Okemo was the first eastern resort named.
Okemo was listed as one of New England's Best Ski Spots for Families.
Okemo was included in a Fodors.com “Best U.S. Ski Resorts for Families” roundup. Okemo was one of only five resorts named and one of two eastern resorts listed.

Lodging and Dining
RCI Gold Crown Resort
Okemo Mountain Resort’s Jackson Gore Inn earned the RCI Gold Crown Resort designation for 2012. RCI presents this award to eligible properties in recognition of superior resort facilities and services. RCI selected The Jackson Gore Inn to join the prestigious group of affiliated resorts based upon a 12-month compilation of exchange guest assessments which included resort quality, service delivery, and overall vacation experience, as well as an evaluation of resort facilities, amenities and guest services.
Coleman Brook Tavern, located in Okemo Mountain Resort’s Jackson Gore Inn, has been honored with the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. Although Coleman Brook Tavern has been recognized by Wine Spectator in the past, this is the first time the restaurant has received this second-tier award. Coleman Brook Tavern is one of only four Vermont restaurants to receive the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, and one of 833 worldwide.
Green Hotels in the Green Mountain State
Okemo Mountain Resort's Jackson Gore Inn was designated a Green Hotel in the Green Mountain State by the environmental business partnership between the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and the Vermont Small Business Development Center. This designation is based on the Inn's voluntary commitment to sound environmental excellence through the placement and achievement of high environmental standards.
