winterevents Dec. 23: Okemo’s Santa Balloon Parade – Santa and his elves will be out on the slopes spreading holiday cheer and handing out free balloons to skiing and riding children. Dec. 24: Okemo Christmas Eve Service – Celebrate the season with a Christmas Eve candlelight service led by Pastor Abraham Gross in the Jackson Gore Roundhouse. All are welcome to Pastor Abe’s sharing of the Christmas story and traditional Christmas caroling. Service starts at 8 p.m. Dec. 25: Ski and Ride with Calvin the Catamount and Friends – Okemo’s mascot and his merry crew will be cruising the slopes. He’s one fast cat, so catch him if you can! Dec. 26: Warren Miller’s  Line of Descent – The lineage of mountain lifestyle continues in Warren Miller Entertainment’s 68th full-length feature film. In this year’s film, WME travels the globe by land, air and sea, exploring the ties that bind ski culture. In Squaw Valley and Jackson Hole, WME visits skiing icons who have made the mountains their home and raised mini Moes and Moseleys of their own. Traveling to Norway, a Canadian ski patroller enjoys the company of his Norwegian brethren, and in the French Alps, native son Jean-Claude Killy’s legacy fills Val-D’Isere hearts with pride.
