Tater Hill Golf Club
the clubhouse & facility
Just a short drive away from Okemo Valley Golf Club, Tater Hill Golf Club is a historic, engaging championship course in the heart of southern Vermont. With new tee boxes, an enhanced course maintenance program and six greens redesigned in 2005, Tater Hill is just as challenging as it is beautiful.
The clubhouse is a true "country" clubhouse providing plenty of New England charm, with all of the services and conveniences found at a modern facility. A fully stocked Pro Shop contains the latest in golf fashions, along with an exceptional line of golf equipment and accessories. A large practice putting green, 150-yard driving range with practice bunker and target greens provide plenty of options for practice before and after a round of golf. Tater Hill also offers golf instruction for beginners to the seasoned-pros.
Course Statistics & Layout
Birch-lined fairways, stone walls, scenic mountain vistas and breathtaking flower gardens serve as the dramatic backdrop for the par 71, 18-hole course layout. Measuring 6,380 yards in length, Tater Hill is situated in a pastoral setting with rolling hills and undulating fairways.
Moderate elevation changes provide plenty of challenge for low handicaps, yet the course is playable for all ability levels. Nature is a star attraction at Tater Hill with birdhouses, wetland areas, magnificent flower gardens and tree-lined fairways.
The course has recently undergone significant capital improvements, with six newly designed greens that made their debut for the 2005 golf season, along with increased services and amenities for the members and guests.

Guidelines & Policies
Proper Dress is Required
Please remember that Tater Hill Golf Club will enforce a proper golf attire dress code at all times. This code requires a collared shirt for men and appropriate golf tops for ladies. Blue jeans, cut off shorts, tank tops and t-shirts are not acceptable. This dress code will be enforced for juniors as well.
Registration and Play
All groups must check in at the Pro Shop before teeing off. One member may check in for the group, but must provide the names and pay for any fees which may be appropriate.
Golf Course Etiquette
Please replace your divots or fill the divot with the mix supplied on the golf cart. This will help to assure great playing conditions. Please treat your fellow members and staff with respect. If you have a problem or suggestion please contact the appropriate staff manager for assistance.
Groups & Pace of Play
Groups will be paired together during busy times. Standard play is in foursomes and foursomes will have priority on the golf course. It is the responsibility of each group of players to keep pace with the group in front of them. Pace of play will remain important and is for the enjoyment of all.
Tee Time Access Policy
When making a tee time, if you are a member, please be sure to identify yourself as a member to our staff. As a member, this will give us the opportunity to service you more quickly and efficiently. Please indicate the number of players in your party and the approximate time you would like to play.
Please plan to arrive at the golf course at least 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled tee time. This will give you plenty of time to check in at the pro shop (each group will be required to provide the starter with a receipt for the group). Members are required to check in before proceeding to the tee.
During busy periods foursome play will be in effect. All non-foursomes will be paired with other players. No fivesomes will be allowed at any time.
If you are unable to keep your reserved tee time, please be sure to call the Pro Shop to cancel your reservation. This is out of courtesy to members and guests who may be trying to obtain a tee time.
