Okemo’s Jackson Gore Summer Concert Series runs every Friday night from 6-9pm on the lawn in the Jackson Gore Courtyard. Be sure to bring your blankets, picnic basket, and chairs for an evening of music overlooking Okemo Mountain. The traditional Friday night barbecue will be open alongside the new Taqueria (at the Adventure Zone) and Coleman Brook Tavern (inside or al fresco dining). Beer, wine and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. The Okemo Adventure Zone will be open until dusk for mountain coaster rides, mini-golf and more. Featured Entertainment: The Stockwell Brothers The Stockwell Brothers are a contemporary bluegrasss and folk quartet. Bruce, Barry, Alan and Kelly Stockwell’s music spans traditional and progressive styles, but their trademark acoustic sound features new singer/songwriter material recast with banjo, alternative rhythms and three-part harmonies. They cover straight ahead bluegrass songs, finger picked acoustic guitar ballads, full tilt breakdowns and traditional mandolin tunes mixed in with more unusual fare — Americana melodies riding world beat grooves and Celtic, jazzy, even neo-classical instrumentals. Please note: Due to Vermont liquor licensing laws, no outside alcohol will be permitted. Coolers will be inspected upon arrival. You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. The Okemo’s Jackson Gore Summer Concert Series is brought to you in partnership with William Raveis Vermont Properties. Admission: Free Location: Jackson Gore Courtyard located at 111 Jackson Gore Rd., Ludlow VT 05149 Parking: Free parking is available at the Spring House and Ice House parking lots.
