Fat Bike Rentals
Fat Bikes at Jackson Gore
Fat Bike Trail Map
Fat bikes will be available for use in the Jackson Gore base area, and are specifically designed around larger than average tires. The average fat bike tire is 3.8 to 4.8 inches wide. The larger volume tires allow for use on a variety of surfaces, specifically SNOW! The larger footprint and lower air pressure allow for floatation and grip on loose, soft surfaces that a normal sized tire couldn’t handle.
Demos are available at Mountain Outfitters at Jackson Gore .

Fat Bike FAQs
What should I be wearing?
Helmets are mandatory. You may rent one or use your own. We recommend that you wear warm boots, gloves, snowpants and winter jacket.
Tips: a helmet liner, balaclava or facemask will help keep the chill off your head, face, and neck. Biking is a great workout! Think about wearing lighter layers than you would while skiing. Layers made of lightweight wool or synthetics will keep your body regulated and make it more enjoyable.
Where should I ride?
Aim for the snow! The best riding will be found on flat and low angle slopes. If riding on the road, all regular bicycle rules and laws apply. Fat bike access is permitted on designated mountain areas only. Please be aware of vehicles, skiers and pedestrians.
Who can ride?
Our fleet of bikes is sized for guests 5’2” or taller.
