Jackson Gore Summer Music Series


Bring the family and enjoy a fun summer night of music under the Vermont stars!  A 12 week music series that brings a different musical act to Jackson Gore on Friday nights throughout the summer.  Pack the lawn chairs or picnic blankets and bring the entire family along to enjoy live music and an outdoor barbeque.

This is a free event.  Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome for seating.  Plan for dinner before the show at Coleman Brook Tavern or enjoy an outdoor barbeque with beer and wine available.

June 8th – Version 6
Primarily a cover band, Version 6 plays a wide variety of dance tunes from the 60’s to today. Influenced by Hendrix, The Beatles, Nirvana and Billy Joel, to name a few, their genre span from Rock to Country and everything in between.  Make sure to wear your dancing shoes as Version 6 is sure to play something that everyone in the family knows and loves!

June 15th – Jenni Johnson and the Jazz Junkateers
Jenni's full, smooth voice offers an ideal format for the collection of American jazz classics, as well as, blues, swing and funk music. You will be mesmerized by her unique style and versatile renditions. She'll have you smiling from your soul, while dancing happily to the beat.

June 22nd – Cold Chocolate
Cold Chocolate is a groovy Americana band that fuses bluegrass, folk, and rock to create a sound all their own. With tight three-part harmony and skillful musicianship, this trio from Boston is impressing audiences throughout New England and beyond.

June 29th – Copilot
Ry McDonald has teamed up with vocalist Maggie Quealy to create Copilot, an Americana Pop duo. As Copilot, Ry McDonald and Maggie Quealy explore their passion for unique, Americana music and exhibit it through their popular covers and original songs in a way that many listeners haven't quite heard before.

July 6th – Big Fez & The Surfmatics
Big Fez & the Surfmatics are a four-man group performing classic surf and beach music from the early 1960's and beyond. Big Fez & the Surfmatics' repertoire includes the great instrumental and vocal hits of the surf era, including songs by such greats as The Ventures, Dick Dale and the Del-Tones, The Trashmen, The Beach Boys, and many more. Big Fez & The Surfmatics are ready to rock your surfin' universe with their songs “In The Key Of Cool”!

July 20th – Deadgrass
Multi-instrumentalist Matt Turk and Grammy award winner C Lanzbom have joined forces to form Deadgrass, an acoustic five piece band that celebrates the music of Jerry Garcia.

July 27th – Dojo *Special Wine Tasting*
DoJo kicks out high-energy covers of 80’s classics, bluegrass-style! Have you ever heard the riff to Sweet Child of Mine on a banjo? Sung in harmonies as sharp as a ninja throwing star?  You haven’t lived until you have.  With a deep repertoire of songs you probably know by heart, Dojo delivers a boot-stompin’, whiskey-drinkin’ good time.

August 10th – CK3
CK3 is a trio of amazing musicians who take classic tunes and twist them into something new and exciting.

August 17th – Studio Two
Before everyone blamed Yoko for breaking up the band. That is the experience Studio Two, a New England based Beatles tribute band, offers to its fans. Studio Two pays tribute to the early Beatles years, choosing songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era. By recreating the Fab Four’s music, appearance, instruments, and onstage banter, Studio Two performs your most favorite hits that will bring people to the dance floor.

August 24th – 2Adam12
2Adam12 is continuing their quest to bring their mix of soul, funk, hip/hop & jam-inspired rock n' roll to the people. Formed in Jamaica Plain, MA in 2005 2Adam12 blurs the line between Funk and Rock.  Drawing influence from every Funk Band from the 60s and 70s and early 90s Hip Hop, the unique sound of 2Adam12 is sure to entertain.

August 31st – The Grift
​The Grift is a popular club, wedding, and event-band based in the Champlain Valley of Vermont. Their sound defies easy categorization, blending booty-shaking grooves and improvisation with radio-friendly hooks, witty lyrics, and tight vocal harmonies. Grift shows are energetic and original, with band members swapping instruments and occasionally playing two at a time. Their deep catalog of original music blends roots-rock and pop and jam.
