Okemo Mountain Resort has an opening for a Culinary Services Administrative Assistant.  Responsibilities include processing purchase orders for all culinary outlets, purchasing supplies, processing time sheets and payroll information as well as tracking labor costs.  Will be responsible for sanitation and safety audits, the licensing process for liquor and health, and work with culinary services managers on adherence to budgets, invoicing, credits and transfer procedures.  The Culinary Services Administrative Assistant will be the primary liaison between vendors/suppliers and the Vice President of Culinary Services to include product selection, price negotiation, purchasing and testing.  In addition, the Assistant will be the point person for the prescreening and qualifying process for all culinary services applicants as well as responsible for the coordination of the staffing process for the culinary outlets in conjunction with each manager.  This position requires a team player with a positive attitude who has previous experience training and motivating staff.  Must have a strong understanding of the food industry, be able to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.  This position does require someone who has the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position and includes working weekends and holidays.   This is a full-time year-round position with benefits including 401k; Medical, Dental and Disability Insurance; Vacation/Sick/Personal Time; Flex Plan; Ski & Golf Resort Discounts and more!
