Okemo's teaching pros know how to get everyone gliding in style, no matter what your age or ability level. Their passion for the sport and their commitment to fun instruction and encouragement will help you meet whatever the challenge on the slopes. The Okemo Ski & Ride School offers skiing and snowboarding programs for every age and ability level, including some new options to keep it fresh, fun, and exciting. BEGINNER GROUP LESSONS
(Levels 1-4; ski or board)

Group lessons are available every morning at 10 am for ability levels 1-4. Additionally, if you are just starting out and want a great beginner value package, we highly recommend our First Tracks and Double Tracks programs. Looking for afternoon lesson options?

First Tracks & Double Tracks Beginner Value Packages (Levels 1-2, ski or board)

First Tracks helps you get the basics down the Okemo way, through personal, up-close instruction at a great value. With First Tracks you'll get a complete rental package, morning and afternoon beginner group lessons, and unlimited use of Okemo's lower mountain lifts. First Tracks takes place from 10 am to Noon & from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Double Tracks is a two-day program that builds on the skills learned in the first day of skiing or riding by getting students back out for a second straight day. Double Tracks includes three lessons, two on the first day, and one the morning of the second day. This package includes a full mountain lift ticket on day two. It adds up to more instruction, more time on the slopes, and more opportunities to improve. Double Tracks takes place from 10 am to Noon & from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm on day one; and from 10 am to Noon on Day Two.

First Tracks Plus Card! When you purchase a First Tracks or Double Tracks learn-to-ski or learn-to-snowboard package, you'll receive a coupon that you may redeem at Okemo for your very own First Tracks Plus Card entitling you to:

• plus! - check-in the Okemo SnowSports Center for other discounts available
  

Cancellation Policy: Reservations are charged in full when booked and are non-refundable for First Tracks and Double Tracks Programs. If given at least 2-day notice, changed or cancelled reservations will be vouchered for future purchase. If less than 2-day notice is given, a $35 processing fee will be assessed, and the balance vouchered for future purchase. If no notice is given prior to the date reserved, no voucher will be issued.

Advance reservations are highly recommended for all Ski & Ride School Programs. Please call (802) 228-1600 to guarantee availability. Last minute bookings are possible on a space available basis only.

AM ADULT CLINICS
(For intermediate and advanced; ski or board)

AM Clinics are available every morning at 8:30 am for ability levels 5 and above. Take your skiing or riding to the next level in one of our innovative, fun, skill-specific Clinics. These are designed to give intermediate to advanced skiers and riders some different options based on the terrain and speed that you enjoy, as well as your skill level.  Join a small group or form your own.  Maximum number of 3 participants per group. Looking for afternoon lesson options? Advance reservations are highly recommended.

Choose your track:

Beyond the Greens You've mastered turns and you want to gain confidence and control while exploring easier Blue terrain. True Blue You're an intermediate who enjoys easier Blue terrain, but you want to master a variety of turns and varying speeds on all types of Blue terrain. Black Diamonds - You enjoy blue and black terrain using a variety of turn shapes. Now it's time to develop the skills and confidence to ski & ride the steeper groomed Black slopes.

LESSON PROGRAM RATES

Notes and Meeting Points:

• Group Lessons meet at Lower Meeting Area at the Clocktower base area or at the Jackson Gore Meeting Area.
• AM Adult Clinics meet at the Lower Meeting Area at the Clocktower base area or at the Jackson Gore Meeting Area Monday through Friday (non-holiday). On weekends and holidays, AM Clinics will meet at the Upper Meeting Area at the Clocktower base area or at the Jackson Gore Meeting Area.
• Meeting areas and lesson schedules are subject to change prior to December 13, 2008 and after March 21, 2009.
• Purchase of a lift ticket is necessary for all lessons requiring use of a chairlift.
• Lessons and clinics may ski/ride terrain other than those indicated in the lesson/clinic descriptions. Terrain selection is at the discretion of the individual instructor based upon the ability level of the group, as well as trail and weather conditions of the day.
