One-on-one ski lessons for everyone and anyone.

When you work one-on-one with the right instructor, learning happens fast. Whether it is private snowboarding lessons or private ski lessons, we are here to fully accommodate you. Our staff ranges from young professionals to mature instructors, with deep experience in teaching as you learn to ski or snowboard.

You'll work with a pro that fits your needs to discover just how good you can get when you learn the Okemo way.

STANDARD PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Work one-on-one with an Okemo pro and you'll find one of the fastest ways to take your ability level higher. You can either request a specific instructor or an Okemo instructor will be assigned to you. Standard private lessons start daily at 8:30 am and are available in 1-2-3-or 6 hour increments. You can even have up to four people of the same ability level in a private group.

ADVANTAGE ONE-ON-ONE PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

For your skiing lessons or snowboarding lessons, we'll match you up one-to-one with an instructor for an intensive hour on the slopes - at a discounted rate. Available daily at 8:30 am.  (Gets you out on the snow a full 1/2 hour before lifts open to the public Monday through Friday!)

PARENT AND TOT PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Have you considered family skiing lessons? A Parent and Tot private lesson improves the skills of a child while giving the parent tips on how to help him or her when skiing or riding together. Parents should be able to ski or ride at least at a level 3 and children should be age 6 or under.

STAR BOOSTER

A private lesson for children ages 2-7. This program gives your child the opportunity to spend a half-hour, one-on-one with an Okemo-trained teaching pro who will give the individual attention needed to help your child move to the next level or simply become more confident. Offered on weekends and holidays only at 8:30 am and 9:00 am for levels 1-4. Learn more about kids' private lessons...

ADAPTIVE INSTRUCTION

We offer instruction for disabled skiers and riders. Please call us in advance to see if we can accommodate instruction for your disability. Advanced reservations are required and subject to availability.

All Private Instruction can be purchased at the Okemo Base Ski & Ride School Desk and the Jackson Gore Base Area or reserved in advanced by calling the School at (802) 228-1600. Standard Reservation and Cancellation Policy applies.

Reservations for all Private Instruction are highly recommended on weekends and holidays. Holiday dates: December 26, 2009 - January 3, 2010; January 16-18, 2010; and February 13-19, 2010. inclusive.

Helpful Hints and Guidelines

• Private Lesson begin daily at 8:30 a.m. with start times on the 1/2 hour.
• Sessions available in 1, 2, 3 & 6 hour units.
• Private lessons limited to four people of the same ability level.
• Advanced reservations recommended.
• Lift ticket is required if lesson will be using a chairlift (ticket additional).
• Call (802) 228-1600 for rate information to add additional hours or persons to private lesson sessions.

Private Instruction Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservations are charged in full when booked and are non-refundable. Any change or cancellation requested within 2 days of the lesson date will be charged a fee of 20% of each reservation. Cancellations on the day of will result in a full forfeiture. All balances are good at Okemo for 1 calendar year and can be used around the resort except for culinary and lodging.
