NOW’S THE TIME FOR NEW OKEMO VALLEY GOLF MEMBERS
TO SPRING INTO ACTION

LUDLOW, VT. – With the recent sighting of his shadow, a certain enemy of course superintendents everywhere confirmed that golf season is still at least six weeks away. That means this is the time for golfers who are considering the benefits of Okemo Valley Golf Club membership to commit now for the best deal available.

When new members of Okemo Valley Golf Club accompany their initial deposit with a signed application by March 1, 2008, they will be eligible to receive 50 percent of their one-time, non-refundable initiation fee as an Okemo gift card toward the purchase of resort-wide goods and services.

Okemo Valley Golf Club offers three levels of membership. The OVGC Gold Pass includes one  annual seven-day pass (seven day advance tee times), one annual locker, one annual golf bag storage and cleaning, one annual Outdoor Golf Learning Center and Practice Facility membership and one annual Pro Shop merchandise credit of $200. The OVGC Silver Pass includes one annual seven-day pass (five day advance tee times) and one annual Pro Shop Merchandise Credit of $100. The OVGC Midweek Pass includes one annual midweek, Monday-through Friday pass (no holidays - three day advance tee times) and one annual Pro Shop merchandise credit of $50.

Okemo also offers Couples and Family Programs. With the purchase of a membership, a second adult, within the same household, is automatically eligible for a discounted pass and same-household juniors may be added at only $175 per child.

All membership programs include: advanced tee time reservations, USGA GHIN handicapping service, tournament and social events, discounts in OVGC Golf Shop, discounts on guest greens fees, automatic Pro Shop credit for advanced purchases, discounts on Golf Academy programs, special member cart fees, discounted rates for winter programs, indoor Golf and Nordic Center, and more.

Okemo Valley Golf Club has won national awards and is recognized as one of the top golf facilities in the Northeast.  The course at Okemo Valley Golf Club was designed by Vermont Golf architect Steve Durkee. Okemo Valley Golf Club is Vermont's first heathland-style golf course and was designed according to the traditions of the game. The championship 18-hole golf resort features a gracious full-service clubhouse, golf academy, indoor practice facility and 18-acre state-of-the-art outdoor training center. The layout is a par 70 that measures 6,400 yards in length and features bent grass greens, tees and fairways with multiple tee areas for each hole, ensuring playability and challenge for all ability levels.
