Friday, Aug. 7
Check in at The Jackson Gore Inn after 5 p.m.
Jackson Gore is Okemo's newest base area and features well-appointed accommodations at The Jackson Gore Inn, Adams House and Bixby House. Amenities include an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs, spa services, concierge, valet parking and an underground garage for guests. Jackson Gore guests also have access to the Spring House Fitness and Aquatic Center and are steps away from tennis and basketball courts, hiking trails and more.
6 p.m. Dine al fresco at Coleman Brook Tavern and enjoy The Jackson Gore Outdoor Music Series featuring a live performance by Roots of Creation, a Reggae jam band.
7:30 p.m. Grand Opening Ceremony for The Maples at Okemo Disc Golf Course
Okemo has opened a new nine-hole disc golf course at Jackson Gore. The course's Vermot maple sugaring theme includes an interpretive tour of all things maple at each tee box and the holes are all topped with an authentic sap bucket.

1-6 p.m. Barbecue Lunch at Hops in the Hills Brew Festival
Enjoy live blues music featuring local and regional artists while sampling beers from Long Trail, Harpoon, Otter Creek, Magic Hat, Switchback and others. Lunch will be fresh-off-the-grill burgers, ribs and chicken. Local blues artists Chris Kleeman and Nobby Reed will keep toes tapping while beer aficionados sample the malt beverages of nine regional breweries. Did you know that Vermont
1:30-2:30 p.m. Volleyball
Age: 4 to Adult. Come alone or grab some friends and play some beach style volleyball on our new court. Meeting place: Springhouse lobby
3:30-5 p.m. Green Bowling
Age: 4 to Adult. Green bowling is just like regular bowling but we use completely recycled bowling pins. Have you ever tried to pick up a 8-10 split with a jug of laundry detergent as pins before? Guaranteed laughs and loads of fun for everyone. Meeting place: Camp Gokemo lobby
7 p.m. Dinner at Willie Dunn's Grille at the Okemo Valley Golf Club
8-10 p.m. Stargazing We will be taking a short hike to the Okemo fire pit in the woods, where we will explore the constellations of the summer sky. Meeting Place: Jackson Gore Courtyard.
Sunday, Aug. 9
Breakfast dine around at participating restaurants in Ludlow Village
Golf at Okemo Valley Golf Club - tee time 8:45 a.m.
Checkout at noon - or arrange for late check-out if needed. Golfers may use the clubhouse facilities or Spring House to freshen up after play.
Spend the afternoon visiting local events and attractions. |
