| Looking to test the latest and greatest in skis and snowboards? Alpine Haus will be at the top of the A/B quads with the 2012-2013 skis and snowboards from companies such as Blizzard, Dynastar, Elan, Nordica, and Burton. Consumers will be required to leave a credit card imprint on file when demoing. This event is free, does not include the price of a lift ticket. Those demoing snowboards will require their own bindings. | ||

| Ski, ride, see the Big Game and save an extra $10. The Big Game Sunday Solution ticket takes another $10 off our already reduced Sunday Solution rate. | Jeremy Davis, founder of the New England Lost Ski Areas Project, will be speaking at Ludlow's Fletcher Memorial Library about lost ski areas inNew England. Davis, a meterologist, works for North Country Weather and North News 8 in the Glens Falls area of New York. Although he came late to skiing, Davis very passionate about skiing, which led to the founding of the NELSAP organization. He became the youngest board member for the New England Ski Musuem in 2000. He has authored two books on the subject, Lost Ski Areas of Southern Vermont and Lost Ski Areas of the White Mountains. | ||

| Shredders and Park Rats of all ages, join us for the second event of the Light the Night series. Okemo will be throwing some light on Lower Chief while competitors go big into the AMP airbag outside of the Sitting Bull starting at 5 p.m. Don't miss your chance to win a chunk of over $1000 in cash plus tons of other prizes from RAMP, Swany, and more. Plus, earn those points for the opportunity to take home a cool $1500 as series champion. After party at The Killarney in Ludlow. Registration will take place outside the Sitting Bull from 2:30-4:30pm Competitors will be able to take the lift from 4:45-5:00pm to get to Lower Chief. Practice will start at 5 and the competition will begin at 5:30pm. Registration is open to skiers and riders of all ages and will take place from 3-5 on the day of each event and well be kicking off the show at 5. The cost will be $15 per event. Helmets are required for all competitors and participants under 18 will need a parent or guardian signature. | This presentation features an assortment of live animals for an informative and entertaining evening event for families. “Raptor Encounter” is a first-hand encounter with live falcons, hawks, and owls focusing on the natural history, ecology, and adaptations of these efficient predators. Participants learn what adaptations make a bird a raptor. The Raptor Encounter is a great introduction to these specialized flying hunters. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience. The program is free and open to the public. 7 p.m. in the Roundhouse at Jackson Gore. | ||
