Tips Before Hitting the Course
Proper Dress is Required
The OVGC dress code requires a collared shirt for men and appropriate golf tops for ladies. Blue jeans or denim of any type, cut off shorts, tank tops and t-shirts are not acceptable at any time. This dress code applies to juniors as well as adult golfers. The dress code is relaxed at the driving range, although it is recommended. Okemo Valley Golf Club does not allow metal spikes.
Registration and Play
All members and guests of Okemo Valley Golf Club are required to check-in at the Pro Shop at least 20 minutes prior to play. A member checking in for more than one player will be responsible for the names of the players and appropriate fees. All play on the golf course will begin on hole # 1 unless otherwise directed by the Pro Shop Staff.
Groups
Groups will be paired together at busy times and no more than four players are allowed at anytime—no exceptions will be made. Standard play for the course is in foursomes and they will have priority.
Bag Drop
For your convenience the bag drop will be in operation during prime business hours. For better service, we encourage you to use the bag drop when playing at Okemo Valley Golf Club. Should you feel you receive excellent service from the outside staff, it is acceptable to provide a gratuity.
Golf Course Etiquette
Please repair your ball marks and replace your divots, or fill in the divot with sand at all times. We cannot stress how important this is to the overall condition of the course. We wish all golfers would understand this, however, we must rely on those who do.
Remember To Keep Pace!
Our Golf Services staff will do their best to monitor for slow play at all times. Members and guest are asked to be considerate of others and keep pace with the group ahead. This will help to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience.
