HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

Okemo Mountain Resort has an opening for an enthusiastic individual to join our year round team as a Human Resources Specialist. Responsibilities include recruitment, maintenance of human resources information system (HRIS), planning and orchestration of staff activities, administration of safety and staff recognition programs, and other human resources tasks as needed. This position involves working in a fast paced environment with a high level of administrative functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work with staff at all levels, and adapt to a variable schedule a must. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree or higher with four years previous human resources, administrative or comparable experience. A valid driver's license is required. Previous recruitment experience a plus. WAIT STAFF, TATER HILL GOLF COURSE
Part-Time Summer
Okemo's Tater Hill Golf Course located in North Windham, VT has Wait Staff positions available. The hours for these positions will be part-time through the summer and full-time after September 1st. Responsibilities include ordering, serving and charging of food and drink to guests. The ideal candidate will enjoy interaction with golf members and possess strong communication and guest service skills.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Okemo Mountain Resort’s Lodging and Welcome Center, which is responsible for scheduling on mountain accommodations, guest arrivals, check outs and the Condominium Owner Association rental programs, has an opening for an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, coordinating the travel protection plan, acting as the condominium owner liaison, scheduling reservations, assisting at the front desk as needed, inventory and ordering of office supplies in addition to general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a very positive, guest centered attitude with strong organizational, interpersonal, computer and telecommunication skills. Computer skills required include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Quick Books and other web-based software applications. An Associate’s degree is preferred. COOK, TATER HILL GOLF COURSE
Part-Time Summer
Responsibilities include assisting with monthly food inventory, preparation of food and line cooking, and maintaining a clean work area. Experience is not required. Weekends required, day and evening shifts as needed.
SKI + RIDE SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Seasonal Department Head
Okemo Mountain, a family operated resort for over 25 years, has an opening for a Ski + Ride School Director. Located in southern Vermont in the Village of Ludlow, Okemo offers 119 trails, 19 lifts and is recognized for snow quality, grooming and family programs. The Director is responsible for all aspects of the Ski + Ride School and staff of approximately 400 both on and off snow. The Ski + Ride School provides instruction for all ages including the children’s programs, Snow Stars and Day Care. Management duties include interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling employees and the ability to establish budgets and projections for future growth. This position also assists with marketing functions to include creating and implementing programs, and representing the mountain within the industry. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, an Associates degree in a related area, business, resort or sports management preferred, and PSIA level 2 certification or higher. Ability to ski or snowboard all terrain at an advanced level on the mountain is required. This is a Seasonal Department Head position working from September through April. TIMBER RIPPER ATTENDANTS

Responsibilities include instructing guests in the safe operating procedures of the Timber Ripper, ticket collection, accurate accounting of rides and assisting the supervisor with the inspection and maintenance of Timber Ripper carts. The hours for these positions are 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and include weekends and holidays.

DIRECTOR OF SALES - Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Crested Butte Mountain Resort is accepting applications for Director of Sales. This position is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all Group Sales, Wholesale Sales and Regional Pass Product Sales efforts. Will also oversee Group Room, Lift, Banquet, Ski School and Rental revenue for groups lodging with CBMR, 3rd Party Wholesale and Travel Agent Room, Lift, Ski School and Rental Revenue and for Regional Sales and Promotional efforts in the Front Range, Western Slope and New Mexico. Within the Group segment the position will manage both Leisure Group Sales and Meeting and Conference Sales efforts. This position requires 5 years sales experience in a mountain resort or combination of mountain resort and hospitality industry and 5 years resort sales experience or related hospitality field with demonstrated progressive management responsibilities. Must be computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft office and Salesforce and possess strong and accurate written and verbal communication skills. College degree in Marketing or related field.
