Ski School Levels
This is my first time on the mountain. I have never skied or snowboarded before.
I have skied or snowboarded before, and I am able to slide in a straight line but am not able to turn yet.
I am turning and stopping but still need practice. I need to work on my confidence and control.
I am riding the chairlift and am comfortable on green terrain. I can turn and stop with confidence.
I can ski or snowboard on blue terrain, using a variety of turn sizes. I am able to control my speed and stop when I need to.
I am already skiing or snowboarding confidently on black terrain and am looking to explore bumps, steeps, glades and parks.

Childrens Programs

Let us take your children's skiing ability to the next level!

Okemo's children's programs accomplish two very important goals - they provide fun, exciting and valuable learning experiences for kids and they allow parents to enjoy themselves, knowing that their children are being ably taught and supervised.

Our learn to ski programs start for children as young as two years old, and continue all the way up to those precious teenage years when they seek that independence but still excel with groups of peers . Choose a program below, and start exploring the Okemo difference.

Mini Stars & Super Mini Stars - age 3

Mini Stars ( ) and Super Mini Stars () are staffed by Okemo instructors who work with young students in very small groups (4:1 and 2:1 respectively) to ensure your child gets the most out of each session. And, each lesson is just enough time (1.5 hours) to have fun without overdoing it.

  • learn more

Super Mini Stars offers those 3 year olds that are already veterans of the slopes the opportunity to explore more of the mountain. Super Mini Stars may ride a chairlift.
