Okemo's children's ski and snowboard programs accomplish two very important goals - they provide fun, exciting and valuable learning experiences for kids and they allow parents to enjoy themselves, knowing that their children are being ably taught and supervised.

Our learn to ski programs start for children as young as two years old, and continue all the way up to those precious teenage years when they seek that independence but still excel with groups of peers . Choose a program below, and start exploring the Okemo difference.

Okemo offers Season-Long Programs for frequent participants. See the details in the program information below.

Little Dippers - age 3

Little Dippers is a program designed to introduce 3 year olds to the fun of skiing and being outside on the mountain. We understand a full day of skiing can be a lot for young children, so our main focus is to make sure your child has the most fun while getting acquainted with this new sport. We focus extra time on getting used to skis and ski boots before tackling the mountain. A low student to instructor ratio allows for individualized attention within a fun and comfortable environment.

We here at Okemo wish to provide your child a positive learning experience. To do so, we create a safe and fun environment by providing low student ratios and lots of positive reinforcement. While every attempt will be made to keep a child happy and involved, these are 3 year olds and sometimes that is not possible. We will not force a child to participate if they are unhappy. Space in this program is very limited and advance reservations are highly recommended. Children are allowed to participate in one session per day.

Children must be potty trained and willing to participate.
