Staying in Okemo Properties
When making a reservation for Kettlebrook, The Mountain Lodge at Okemo, Okemo Village, Solitude Village, Trailside, Winterplace, Brookhaven or Westwoods Village, please be aware that the following policies apply:
Maximum Number of Guests: Each condominium has a maximum number of allowable guests. Exceeding the number of overnight guests quoted on the reservation card (without notification) will result in termination of the rental agreement and forfeiture of all deposits and payments. Please also note that issues such as noise complaints or other inappropriate behavior may result in termination of agreement and forfeiture of all deposit payments.
Housekeeping: All linens, towels and blankets are furnished for your arrival. Rates include daily towel service, pick up of bathroom linens and trash. Additional maid service available on a per diem basis upon request.
Reservation Deposits: 60% of the total stay is required as deposit to receive confirmation guarantee. Reservation deposits must be made within five days of the initial booking. Upon receipt of deposit, a confirmation letter will be sent immediately. Final payment is due 20 days prior to arrival date. Two night minimums may be required on prime weekends. Minimum night stays are required during Holidays depending on arrival night.
Cancellations & Reservations Charges: There is a 10% Cancellation Fee applied to all cancellations. Reservations are fully refundable, less 10%, if notice is received at least 20 days prior to arrival for ski season, 60 days prior to arrival for long-term stays, and 7 days prior to arrival for summer/fall stays. Lodging-only reservations may be upgraded to Ski & Stay packages until the initial deposit has been paid. No credits or refunds will be issued for downgrading a reservation within 20 days of arrival due to changes in length of stay, of unit size, or by dropping a Ski & Stay package. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Vacation Cancellations and Interruption Protection Plan (VCIPP): A 7% fee to cover the cost of VCIPP is included in your total package. This plan protects your reservation deposits from loss due to cancellations as a result of many causes and we strongly recommend the coverage. To decline the coverage, you must return a signed waiver within 2 days of your initial deposit payment.
Specific Unit & Floor Location Requests: We are unable to guarantee specific unit/f1oor/building availability other than unit size and condominium location. Okemo will try to, whenever possible, honor all specific unit/f1oor/building requests on a first reservation basis. Okemo Management reserves the right to move reservations, with a specific request to another unit/f1oor/building if unforeseen circumstances should occur. Ski in/Ski-out units may be on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor, but are all in buildings with direct access to a ski trail. Mountainside units may be on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor, and are in buildings requiring a short walk to the slopes (avg. 150 yards).
Late Check-outs: Options for a later than normal check-out are sometimes available. There is a nominal fee (from $25- $75) for any late check-out, however, they are not available during holidays or when another guest is checking into your unit. Late check-outs are available on a limited basis and can only be confirmed after 6:00 PM the night before your departure. NOTE: Specific unit/f1oor/ building requests limit the possibility of a late check-out.
Security / Key Deposits: Due to private ownership of our rental condominiums, a security/ key deposit must be provided upon check-in. The deposit may be a credit card imprint (V/MC/AX,DISC) or $300 in currency. Cash or check deposit will be returned within 15 days of departure. There will be a $20 per key charge for lost keys. All keys shall be returned to the Welcome Center at check-out.
Check In / Check Out: Ski season check-in time is 5:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. Check-ins and check-outs are handled at the Welcome Center, which is located at the skier drop-off area by the Clock Tower. The Welcome Center is open daily during the regular winter season from 8:00 AM to 11 :00 PM. Guests arriving after hours should check-in at the Jackson Gore Inn, which has a 24-hour desk. The Inn is located 2 miles North of the main Okemo entrance on Rt. 103. During the spring/ summer/fall seasons, the Welcome Center is open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM daily. Please note: We will be pleased to check you in early if your unit is ready; however, early check-ins are not available Fridays, Sundays and Holidays during the holiday season. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.
Miscellaneous: Port-A-Cribs/Futons: Available for a $20 fee for the length of your stay. Reservations required. Local Phone Calls: The first 10 minutes of each local phone call is free, after which a nominal fee will be charged. Parking permits: Are required and will be issued when your unit is ready for check-in. Limit 2 permits per condominium. Additional parking is available in the
Pets: Pets are not permitted. Sorry, no exceptions.
