| The Hopefuls Program goes into their first race of the season on the Race Arena on Bull Run. NASTAR will open to public following the event. | ||

| 1/5/2013 | American Heart Association Red Dress Dash | |
| Dig out that old red dress and support the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign. In 2004, the American Heart Association (AHA) faced a challenge. Cardiovascular disease claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year, yet women were not paying attention. In fact, many even dismissed it as an “older man’s disease.” To dispel the myths and raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women, the American Heart Association created Go Red For Women – a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health. Join us on Saturday, January 5th in your finest red gear and take to the slopes! We will be meeting at 9am for registration and a talk with survivors. Then join us for a ceremonial run down the hill! Discounted tickets will be provided to all participants. | ||

| Enjoy a night at the moves at the Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium with Meathead Films: No Matter What! The film features Meathead's skiers in search of snow and adventure during the past so-called winter season. Sponsored by Friends of Ludlow Auditorium. Show starts at 7pm. Admission is free, donations are appreciated. | ||

| Show us your helmet head! As part of National Safety Week Okemo is celebrating the helmet and the matted mess that occurs when you take your helmet off after some runs on the mountain. Find us around the mountain and show us your helmet head! Winners receive two complimentary lift tickets! | ||

| Come out and enjoy a great evening of skating with a live DJ, games, and fun for the whole family! Presented by Snickers Admission is $10 for 12 and up, $8 for under 12 years old. Skate rentals are available fore $5 each. | ||

| This spectacular pyrotechnics show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Okemo Clocktower base area. For the best view join the Snowshoe tour meeting in the rentals departmant at 6pm. Make the short climb up the mountain to the bonfire and watch the fireworks go off overhead while roasting marshmallows. Reservations for the snowshoe tour are recommended. Please call 802-228-1558. Rentals are available for $15. | ||

| It’s Okemo’s Safety Week and Deep River Snacks is excited to get in on the action. In addition to sponsoring the Park Safety Program, Deep River Snacks is also teaming up with Okemo on the Safety Scavenger Hunt. While you learn and reinforce all the important safety rules on the mountain, be on the look-out for the Deep River Snacks logo signs, there will be at least 10, for you to scavenger up & bring to the Deep River Snacks tent for a fun-filled ski & snack prize pack! | ||
