Motorcycle Girls-The Adventures of Finishing the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge |
| |
The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is not for the faint of heart. Their website tagline reads "The Toughest Ride on Earth...The Toughest Riders on Earth!" In 2010 and 2011, two local riders and warriors took up the challenge of these endurance races - Jane Bixby and Schatzi Brown. In 2011, they finished 37th and 38th overall, and 2nd and 3rd in the female category. Amazing to have completed at all and even more amazing in how well they did during the race. These two rider warriors will recount their adventures on these quest rides. Given the physical and mental challenges of the race, the beauty of the landscapes traveled through and the shared experiences of weeks on the road this will be a fascinating discussion and not to be missed. Please park in the rear and use the back entrance where there is a ramp and an elevator. We hope that you will join us on Thursday May 16 to hear the amazing true story of Bixby and Brown's trek from Arizona to Nova Scotia. |
