Springfield Medical Care Systems Summer Music Series at Jackson Gore |

Back for its 8th season, the Springfield Medical Care Systems Summer Music Series at Jackson Gore will be sure to delight any audience. The concerts are free of charge and take place every Friday night beginning June 14th through August 30th, 2013. Enjoy the musical stylings of 2Adam12!
Concerts start at 6 pm at Jackson Gore and run until sundown. Bring your lawn chairs, bring a Frisbee, and enjoy warm summer sunsets with great music, a cold beverage from Magic Hat, and friends and family. |

The Book Nook's non-fiction book club will read and discuss Jim Holt's WHY DOES THE WORLD EXIST? In this astonishing and profound work, an irreverent sleuth traces the riddle of existence from the ancient world to modern times. Bruce Springsteen stated, "I've [read] Why Does the World Exist? by Jim Holt to get my existential buzz." The book discussion takes place at The Book Nook on Tuesday June 25 at 6pm. BUMPS Okemo Bike Climb |

Ride up Okemo's Mountain Road, a great 5.8 mile ride from Jackson Gore to the summit of the mountain.
Registration is limited to the first 250 riders. Registration is available at https://www.bikereg.com/Net/18806
The BUMPS (Bike Up the Mountain Points Series) is the only series of its kind in America – a series that recognizes the talents of riders who do the hardest thing in cycling, climb steep hills. The series comprises ten races on nine mountains of the Northeast, on courses of varying lengths and pitches. |
